The convo I hate so much is when I say “I’m tired” and someone with kids says “You don’t know what tired is.” I’m sorry I didn’t realize that I was not allowed to be tired because I don’t have children.

CORRECTION; The ones without kids and without significant others…. Are Always left out, always no support, never checked on, get told we don’t understand. It’s Definitely a loneliness not talked about enough. I gave up a long time ago hoping to get the same support and inclusion I give the friends with kids and in marriages. 😕

When you get told ‘I can’t do coffee because I’m busy’ but then you see them posting a meet up with other mums. So what you meant is, you couldn’t or didn’t want to leave your child with your husband for an hour and it was easier to meet up with your mum friends. I don’t hate kids, but I also want an hour of uninterrupted and focused time on our friendship. Because when your child is there I could tell you I was dying and you would say ‘uh huh really’…
