i think you missed out key contexts which would significantly change the narrative. for an example. syphisus was pusshing the boulder as a punishment. icarus is presented as ignorant. however you never know if he is aware of the risk. and the guy who only cared about himself. he was in love with himself. for himself. not to present himself for anyone else.
