I buy the bag of peeled garlic put it all in the food processor. Process until desired consistency put in a freezer bag try to get as flat as possible. Remove air , and freeze . When I need garlic I just break off what I need , and use .

Not pickled. The only ingredients are garlic, water, and citric acid. No pickling ingredients.

Have people never used canned goods before? It being shelf stable is because it’s been canned, much like thousands of other vegetables and fruits have been for centuries. 🙄

Hear me out here!! I do both, because if it’s a quick toss together meal, or crock pot, I’m absolutely reaching for the jarlic. Scratch cooking, building flavors, and meals you put effort into, 100% going for the fresh garlic.

Isn’t it essentially pickled garlic? It has a way different taste than fresh garlic. Almost like a cucumber and a pickle

All things have their season, and jarlic is no exception. No garlic prep hack will ever match the speed and efficiency of sticking a spoon into a jar and throwing it into the pan, no stinky fingers, no extra peeling/cutting. Fresh garlic is undoubtedly a higher quality, but i dont always need a higher quality .
