@lucyhinds27: I made my own coffee this morning. In my pajamas. On a $40,000 a year budget. And I have a $1.4M net worth. Here’s what I don’t spend money on: 1. Luxury handbags & designer clothes. I genuinely cannot tell the difference between a $30 outfit and a $300 one when I look good in both. The label was never the point. 2. New cars. A car is a depreciating asset. I bought used and I’ll buy used again. That gap in payments? It went into a rental property. 3. Expensive vacations. I travel 5-8 times a year. I just don’t overspend on it. The goal is the experience, not the resort brand. Resourceful travel is still real travel. 4. Starbucks & coffee shops. Rarely. Not because I’m depriving myself — because I genuinely don’t miss it. 5. Bloated subscriptions. I audit mine regularly. If I’m not actively using it, it’s gone. Most people are bleeding money here without realizing it. 6. An expensive gym membership. I work at my gym 3 hours a week in exchange for a heavily reduced membership. Quiet wealth is also about being resourceful — not just frugal. This isn’t about deprivation. It’s about knowing exactly what makes your life better — and cutting everything that doesn’t. Want to know what I DO spend my money on instead? That’s the next post. Follow so you don’t miss it. And if you’re wondering where YOUR money is quietly leaking every month — drop AUDIT in my DMs. I’ll show you exactly where it’s going. What’s one thing you stopped spending money on that you don’t miss? Drop it below 👇

Same! We’re worth 5mil. Own 4 homes (3 paid off). The one we live in is a 1970’s ranch we renovated. Drive older cars (pilot and Chevy truck). I do my own nails, skincare, and make us a pot of coffee every morning. Rich is loud…wealth is quiet! When we married 33 yrs ago we had nothing!

Keep up the great work. What some are not giving you credit for is that 1.4m will be 2.8m in 7 yrs because you aren’t spending much of the money. Keeping most of it invested will continue to make you more money. You are winning. ❤️

This absolutely is NOT a lot of money on today’s standards, but our standards are excessive. It’s nice to see someone normalizing living and ENJOYING life on a modest budget

The older I get the less I need or want. Clutter, slowing me down. Black coffee and my dogs. We are good. Peace and quiet.

Great job! The wealthiest people I know keep their status to themselves. No need to flaunt it. Enjoy what you have and stay grounded. Love it

Same. The next door millionaire is comfortable, but usually not flashy. Paid off reliable cars, minimal monthly expenses, and occasional splurges on vacations.
