My boy goes to sleep without milk but when he wakes during the night he goes mad for a bottle of milk and kicks off we don’t give it! He’s almost 2 and a terrible sleeper!

FTM to twins ! I think 🤔 I’m pretty much there? Last feed is 8/8.30 they sleep through till 7 , mine don’t fall asleep on the bottle anymore and I often take them up half hour or more after they’ve been fed does this count 😂🤷♀️we always have play time after our day feeds to get them to nap as they’ve always been worn out after x

I totally agree and I think once I stopped breastfeeding both of mine, they had less of an association with feeding to sleep. My second baby has not needed milk during the night since 2 months.

Ive done the opposite this time 😅 my 1st born i broke the feed to sleep association by 8 months but was still an awful sleeper until he was 3. So with my 2nd im feeding to sleep and at 11 days old she only wakes once to feed 😂🤷🏼♀️xx

Yes 👌 I made this mistake too with my first born. Definitely going to try your approach with the twins. Expecting in August, will hopefully find out gender soon 🥰

+1 same here, i feed them 5 times a day so they are full by the night time, if one of them wakes up i just take it next to me in bed and goes back to 😴 worth trying 💯👌

Also, DO NOT ever say it out loud that they are good sleeper or they are finnaly sleeping through. You will jinx it all and 100% next night they wakeing up 😅

Oh haha, well that’s where I’ve gone wrong! My son used to sleep through the night, now he’s up 3 times in the night (7months) he goes to sleep with a bottle 🙈🙈🙈

100% agree!! Although pregnant with my 3rd after a 9&7 year gap and I feel like I want to feed this baby to sleep for 5+ years minimum to savour it 😭😂 but also know I will go insane!!
