omg completely agree with remarkably bright creatures, I found it bland and have no idea how people said they were so emotional reading it…?

I did finish The Library Book. Honestly I think you can skip it. The main reason I liked it is because I was listening to it while working in a library which made it an immersive horror experience.

I ALSO read Remarkably Bright Creatures, i’m very upset we didn’t get like 30% more Marcellus. His audiobook narration was really interesting and that’s about it.

opposite set of opinions on Spoiled Milk - i didn’t like the cover (yours is great - the UK one feels divorced from the era the story is set in and thats the one i have) and i really enjoyed the story! it definitely wasn’t what i was expecting but reminded me of a twist on the old Enid Blyton’s/Mallory Towers i read when I was a kid and it was one of those where it played out like a movie in my head

I really liked Spoiled Milk but I wish there’d been more to the plot than what we got, the ending was very go girl give us nothing

If you want a comedic sci-fi-ish mystery where the ending of Jane Eyre is in the weird remove from the plot and our MC has to save Mr. Rochester, read The Eyre Affair!
