when the sound cut out it was dead quiet, not rustling, no popcorn, you could hear the movies from the other theaters faintly it was crazy😭

fun fact! this part of the song uses the Dies Irae melody, which can be found over a TON of different movies like lord of the rings, Star Wars, it’s a wonderful life, etc. It’s been used for centuries to signify death and danger :) and it’s so neat to me that they used it for the astrophage theme

My theater was sold put, didn’t talk or be obnoxious, but everyone laughed at the funny parts, maybe sounds of people moving and eating and maybe murmurs once in a while. But this scene, everyone was so quiet and still.
