Always remember- TRO’s are always immediately issued. Then a hearing is set to prove why a restraining orders is necessary. It is then if the orders are granted or denied ☝🏻

If the judge looked at their proof and was not willing to issue a TRO at the time of filing, they are wasting their time and yours. Unless they come up with some crazy overwhelming evidence by the time of the hearing, they’ll be laughed out of that courtroom.

As someone whose parents divorced when I was an infant, the one thing I’ve always loved and respected is that they never spoke poorly or acted with ill will toward each other. Children grow up, they see the truth, and they remember which parent put them first (this includes the other parent). I hope both sides, including step parents, take a moment to reflect on that.
