This is happening to me. I thought he was just being nice because he is new. When I am in the kitchen, he goes there too, he always needs water when I am there. When I am in the photo copy area he is there too. He comes to my desk asking me questions he already knows the answer. He reads memo on his phone instead of his laptop, stood in the boardroom door because I am next to it. One day, I got to my desk and there was a bag of guava (like 3kgs). He placed it on my desk. He picked it from his tree because he remembered me in passing saying, "I love guavas. It's my favorite." Then one of my co-workers said, "wow, he did not even put it in the kitchen. It is not for everyone then." 😅 I loved it. So cute.

What if he's just talking to you when work related, sometimes talking about personal things, makes coffee every 3PM and knows your preference, I buy him his favorite oat milk and subtle touches. There's a coworker guy he's not talking to so when that guy is in the pantry, he doesn't stay but when I'm in the pantry and that guy is in the pantry as well, he stays that I am the one feeling the tension and awkwardness for them 😅
