I started working at a gas station just under a month ago. recently I said something about the prices/shortages in Australia and 2 of my coworkers stopped me like I was giving a movie spoiler and told me they don't watch the news. Not once has anyone I work with commented on the gas prices or speculated..they just shrug. Current events cease to exist inside that gas station. I left work one day and it was $3.99. Came back the next morning and it was $4.19. It never came up in work conversations.

Yep me too :( I remember that too, and it sucks having to go thru this again. Everybody hates when you’re too informed for their comfort. You’re always too crazy, until it’s too late to stop anything

Yes! things are going to be such a disaster. i don't know how people are going to survive this tbh. my co workers genuinely dont know anything and are hoping gas prices will go down but its going to cost $10 or $20 a gallon!! i feel crazy because i can see all the disasters coming and no one around me will believe me

I followed a Chinese YouTuber who was talking about a new illness that’s been going around before it got really bad. I read the first 3 English articles about it December 28th 2019. And told my family it could get really bad and spread globally…they told me I was being dramatic

and you know this hell hole will never move to rationing or calling for working from home like other places are beginning to do; there will absolutely never be an ""announcement "" about fuel shortages and everyone will keep going to work and being made to go to work like nothing is wrong until they can't get to work anymore 🙃
