do you really need to buy a return ticket? seems a waste of money... I only buy a one way and will extend for a total of 7 months and just buy a ticket before I go home

They have never asked me to show a return ticket, even last time when I had a one way ticket and a ticket onwards within 30 days. I was only asked to show my onwards ticket when I had the one way ticket when I checked in at the airport here in Norway. in the Philippines I just scanned my etravel QR code and no questions.

not true I booked return ticket for 5 months the emigration just said I need to get a visa during the first month it cost about 1,000 pesos it took 20 minutes in manilla the gave me 1year visa

I come every year. Six months here 6 months in Canada and I always have a return ticket but I’ve never once been asked if I have a return.

I think it depends on the employee who's just working there if they want to see your return ticket. For safety I bought such an onward ticket for return after 1 month cause my regular return ticket was 4 months later. No one at the check in complained and in Manila the immigration didn't ask or complain either. I was surprised by myself too.

I have 59 days visa and leave philippins after 58 days i go to 3 days and i have my free month when i come back in october i need 59 days visa again but this time i can get 6 month visa and hope next time they give me visa one year i have contact to house i hope its working?

Nic nie musisz, wystarczy że masz paszport, ram masz pieczątkę wjazdu Z data... A potem tylko płacisz i za przedłużenie...

They make it too complicated. Just make the first time up to 3 months then do a 6 month and a 1 year. It could be so simple but no that would be to easy.
