I actually didn’t mind the similarish church I was part of previously and miss it but the one thing that bothered me about their school was they had small group families and there was a mom and dad figure and I hated it and refused to give it the time of day 😭

Teen Mania cult survivor here 🙋🏻‍♀️. I don’t remember that specific verbiage, but the concept 💯. It was often talked about a god-shaped hole in our hearts that only god could fill. Yes… god filled our holes. 🤦🏻‍♀️It’s so cringe now. 🤣😂
