If a store did that they'd be going out of business. Dynamic prices should be illegal

J. L. Pavich Books 📚 :
Consumer protections are super important, BUT what you're illustrating is actually as surveillance pricing. Dynamic pricing is used to stay competitive (usually to lower prices to beat competitors) or compensate for cost changes.

"Kim Kardashian posted a picture eating an apple", pretty much when someone big make a video of something affordable they found online it usually stop being affordable the next day, especially if it is something "vintage"

I know there's a bar that has a concept of doing this for drinks, but like it's a stock market. so when a certain cocktail isn't being ordered the price will drop really low so people start buying that but then other cocktails get their price lowered as well. they have a display to show the price drops of everything in real time, it can be interesting in that kind of setting because the whole point is that you don't just drink the same thing all night. it's that you try new stuff when it turns cheap. but doing it to order food like actual meals when you just want to eat and not have fun playing stock market fucking sucks
