There's a greater level, which is your own consciousness. You are really just observing and playing out the life of a person. You have a name, a family, etc. But you exist on a soul level, and you're inhabiting this body as a soul. You don't have thoughts, you observe them. Everybody else on this planet is also going through this exact same human-soul experience, and each of us are at different stages of awareness of this type of existence.

Most empaths see that way. Seeing things from someone else's view. Animals humans even environments. Question everything... with something so simple as WHY? It always grows to something more complex. I'm someone's hero and someone else's villian 🤷🏾♀️or someone's background as you say. everything and nothing all at once.

When I travel and especially at night anywhere I am really, when I see homes with the lights on I think about who are the people living there and what is their story. I especially had this feeling in Ecuador, seeing those homes up in the hills. I wish I could know everything about them.

I’ve been doing this since I was a kid. I look at people and think about what each of them is going through. Sometimes I focus on one for too long and sometimes I just pick a few and connect all of them. I make up all kinds of different scenarios. I try to imagine i am them. As soon as im back in myself i feel good and grateful

I recently have experienced this with my son. He’s going through a very hard experience. I had to look outside of me experiencing it and realize that it is HIM experiencing it. It’s his struggle. His life that is being affected. I’m experiencing it through my observation of it . But HE is experiencing it. It’s is life.

For me, it is realizing that I am growing and me now is different than me 5 years ago, 5 years ago I couldn’t imagine where I am now, and now I can’t reimagine what it is fully being 5 years younger, nostalgia is a crazy thing.

When I used to travel frequently, I often thought of all this. All the people watching led to deeper thoughts about individuals or families. I am always intrigued by people. Traveling by train also would have me passing homes or apartments that looked so cozy & I couldn’t help but wonder what sort of lives & activities went on in them. I romanticized the apartments, maybe because I never lived in one, I live in a house out in the countryside. I always wanted to experience apartment life.
