I'm a Dealership Journeyman technician. I can tell you all that no one I have ever heard of in my 32+ years in the business. Would do for a customer what he did. PAy another shop to fix a problem, Never! You would have to tow the truck back to the original shop and wait to get it repaired. Let another shop do the failure analysis, Never! He bent over backwards for his customers!

if you're selling $65,000 engines why don't you have an engine dyno?

People will never say anything good about shops because it cost the money even when parts are good and parts don’t fail. They will only say something about shops when they have issues whether the shop works with them or not but so hard to get a good reputation as a shop because People will never say the good they will only say the bad

why would it need a new head for spun bearing and why replace the crank instead of sending it to a machine shop?

Dude, you’ve always been real and upfront from the gate. I wish the people I were dealing with two years ago did the same? I built a 79 Kenworth from the ground up recently put a Kat 3 406B in it and it spun a crankshaft bearing and the guy I got the motor from told me it was freshly rebuilt and he would help me take care of it here I am in Texas owner operator on my own with a truck broke down in Vegas with no way to get it back. I can’t even get a response from the guy. I got the motor from.
