@ahhhdra: weirdly obsessed with traditions. this isn’t one i would’ve created on my own, this is all katherinewwebb’s legacy. four years in a row, we’ve “hidden” eggs for neighborhood kids and watched them come back still excited. it’s a lot of coordinating and spreading and effort. and they’re all gone in under 5 minutes typically. but that’s the thing about community, it’s the annoying, repetitive, worth-it kind of love, even if just for a fleeting moment.
