lolah :
I remembered my best friend, but he sees me as a school rival, and I'm just cool with that. As time goes by, we've become so close, so close that when I transfer my seat, he'll follow me. We always have deep talks online, chatting from 11 pm and saying goodnight around 3 am, and we have class at 8 am. I was so attached to him, and he's giving signals. We're both obvious that we like each other, especially in class (they say), but we really can't admit it. Maybe I don't want to ruin the friendship, and I'm still not convinced that he also likes me because, even though they say actions speak louder than words, the 'assurance' is still missing. And okay, disclaimer (no comment, haha), he was always top 1, and I'm the second, and I don't care. In 12th grade, when he joined a pageant, everything changed. He was busy rehearsing and preparing, and I was also busy with school events (I was an officer), but I still made sure I'm present when he's performing on stage, from pre-pageant, talent portion to the final pageant. I even had an argument with one of the coaches just to come to him. But that time, there was no communication at all. And after that event, it feels like I was an air, like I don't exist. He was an introvert, and after the pageant, he started partying and gained more friends. The worst part is, his one friend told me he was already courting someone (which is a 'fakenews'), and that time I was heartbroken, and I really distanced myself, and I can't even stand beside him. The final rehearsal came for our graduation, the final ranking results came, and this time I was rank 1, and he's the second, and for once, I was REALLY SATISFIED. That grudge, really. And college came, I transferred school, and he followed :)
