From creating dance videos that uplift millions… to now stepping into something deeper rooted in culture. At the Saigon Bonbon candy launch, I had the chance to interview Michael and ask him: You’ve built one of the biggest platforms in the world… how do you stay connected to your Vietnamese identity while reaching a global audience? And beyond content… what made you want to be part of building one of the first Vietnamese American gummy candy brands inspired by Vietnamese flavors? His answer was simple, but inspirational. He started by just being himself, creating content to inspire and bring joy to others. But now, he’s intentionally going deeper, reconnecting with his roots and learning more about his Vietnamese identity. He also gave flowers to OG creators like Ryan Higa and KevJumba, who paved the way and inspired him to start. And honestly, even with everything he’s accomplished… he’s still humble, kind, and genuine in person.
