It didn’t at first but the entities grew from infection or atoms over time for example ,the bacteria was grown from bacteria, there’s multiple of them

i like the ideas of a backrooms game that makes it known you’re being followed by something while you traverse the game there will always be something with you but you’d never see it. It’ll influence the map, make you paranoid, close doors you opened, open doors you closed, it’ll make noises to startle you, get you to fall off your path, it will never attack and it will only show itself at the very end of the game not in a boss fight or a chase but as a last scene grabbing the player and throwing the camera away either to no clip somewhere else or to fall somewhere deeper just to see the exit sitting so close. Thats the type of backrooms game we need.
