Picture this, you buy one mold, and you mix enough cement to make one tile. Do you have to let that cure? Probably for a couple days. Then, you can make another tile with that one mold. And a couple days later another. Ad naseum. Alternative picture, you buy enough molds to make the tiles you need and spend as much money as you would buying already made tiles. Gotcha! 👍

Almost is the key word, along with the wait for concrete to set and dry. One tile every 24 hours, need 100 tiles, that’s 100 days plus build time. Depending on climate a project can take a year.

the idea sound great, but I don’t have the equipment or physical ability to handle the cement work. I don’t have a device to shake the cement and fill the molds, nor the strength to mix all that cement or lift the heavy bags of sand and cement. I also don’t have space to let the molds set and harden, and I don’t have the strength to lift the stone and tiles into place.

Hella time consuming, to make a patio or driveway you need hella molds or mix concrete little by little and wait for dry time in between.

Funny note that one of those was red sided. It would take so long much easier and cheaper to buy sometimes. Remember your time is irreplaceable and the most expensive asset you have. Take all your income for the year divide it by 525,600 minutes and you will know the price of your time. Always level that up and find ways to save time.
