Turn the knob to the pilot position and hold it down. If you have a long lighter, use that. We forgot ours today, so we’re using a long piece of paper instead. Light the pilot flame at the bottom of the heater. Once it’s lit, release the knob and turn it to the on position. Then put the cover back on. Ignition successful!
