got my port put in like 3 weeks ago and I would rather do the surgery for it than do an IV (they also were never able to get blood out of my IVs)

If you have breast implants, the port goes above your implant, further up your next. It's very weird. At first, every time you move your neck or head you feel it. Mine did hurt and I received additional medication. Overall, it wasn't the worst. I'm sure my chemo and radiation will be worse.

I didn’t like it’ to me it was a horrible experience. Painful all the time and it used to move around.
