@nicoledebord82: I’ve made my kids work for their gifts in different ways for the past 6 years. Last year, I had extensive shoulder surgery two days before Easter. I planned ahead and came up with hilarious scavenger hunt clues. i put their baskets in the trunk of their cars without them knowing and my sons dad rode with him and I rode with my daughter. I sent them to my parents for the final destination. The last clue said I hoped you liked these rhymes because the shit was with you the whole time. My daughter ran to the bathroom and my son ran to his car where he found his basket. 😂 another time I tied gift cards and lottery tickets to strings and hung them inside umbrellas. I folded the umbrellas and only left out umbrellas Easter morning and they both said thanks but with disappointment. After a while of letting them learn life is full of disappointments, I told them to open the umbrellas and everything fell down from the hanging strings. It’s either work for it or feel disappointment. It’s about life lessons and entertaining the parents once they are 16. 😂

😂 Jackson ran like a madman and also dropped all of his eggs. June made like zero effort and walked everywhere but still got a bunch bc she picked his up.
