This isn’t about editing but I noticed color a lot in this viewing! In all of Roxie’s daydream performances, the characters are lit in red. The only two people who are lit in white are the Hungarian girl and Amos. Even in Roxie’s imagination, they’re both innocent. Also during the final performance, Roxie and Velma are dressed in white but are thrown red roses by the audience.

funny hunny and is genuinely such a perfect song to introduce us to the concept of 2 distinct realities!! every single editing choice made in that one number is just so perfect!! especially the ending, the way she seamlessly exits the stage ugh I eat it up every time
