My best advice? Do what works for you! What I mean is yes feed them wet food according to when you can do it, how much you can afford and what works best for you. I’m a student and and I work. So my cats are on a dry/wetfood diet. I keep dry food on hand in an automatic feeder for days I’m going to be out because of school and work. The automatic feeder is on a time schedule so it pours out the food according to whatever schedule I have it on. On the days I am home which is usually in the evening they will get their wet food. Which is usually their dinner. Their main wet food is fancy feast like this, and whatever toppers I have on hand (also what I can afford). On my days off? Of course they will receive nothing but wet food! Oh and yes! They do have a automatic water fountain! Again for those times when I’m not home they still can be hydrated ˙ᵕ˙. Remember they are your cats, as long as you’re putting in the effort to keep them healthy and taking them to the vet to for check ups, you will be okay 🫶✨
