As an official Old Person, I spent so much time in my 20s adjusting mp3 metadata to have my songs play in the correct order. Some players just go by file name, so you can make sure they’re all named properly and numbered with two digits like 01 instead of 1. Others you can go through iTunes into album info and put what song of how many songs for each album, etc. it used to be just right clicking the song name but honestly that was like 20 years ago. 😅🙈
