@trevorcarroll_: A simple intention and prayer of metta and loving kindness today. There is a lot of terror happening right now. I think like many, I continue to be utterly disgusted by the violence and hatred being inflicted across human beings across our Earth. Today, waking up to the remarks made by the president on Easter Sunday of all days left me feeling yet again just sad. I don’t know why I’m still shocked. It makes me angry. I’m sad and disgusted. Amongst these feelings is also a sense of hopelessness for humanity. It’s in these moments where connecting to my own heart helps me harness my own power… and a power that we all have. To connect to love. Not one person can change the world, but I just have to hope that a simple act of loving kindness can help accelerate some sort of domino effect across the cosmos. And that’s my simple prayer for today. For you to experience love and for you to love. 💛
