@chewstoexplore: We went to Andasibe National Park in Madagascar to see the indri, the largest lemur in the world. They only exist in this one rainforest. Not in a zoo, not in captivity, not even in other regions of Madagascar. That’s the wildest thing about this country. Each region has completely different species so if you don’t visit a specific area you’ll never see certain animals in your life. We spent 3 hours in this park and saw Indri, common brown lemurs, the diademed sifaka, chameleons and birds that don’t exist anywhere else on earth. But there are less than 10,000 indri left and they can’t survive in captivity. Once this forest is gone they’re gone forever. Have you ever heard of the indri? 👇 #madagascar #indri #lemur #andasibe #wildlife
