@thesmokewalkers: This is our frankincense and myrrh infusion process where the work slows down and goes deeper into the material. These resins are taken through a longer term oil infusion to pull out the heavier compounds that do not come through in distillation. Before they ever touch the oil they go through a pre digestive step to break down the gums and open the structure of the resin so the oil can actually reach what is inside. From there it is constant agitation and steady heat control the entire way through. Nothing forced just maintained and watched closely over time. These infusions run 4 to 6 weeks and a typical batch is 25 pounds of resin into 5 gallons of organic golden jojoba oil.
