This, or I’m packing things I can make for them that I know they’ll eat. Or we are stopping somewhere on the way home. I’ll never make eating a “this or starve” situation. There’s plenty of things I don’t eat and I’m a grown adult.

ok, I'm not cooking but my kids are always free to help themselves to ready made snacks I buy. Im not going to reinforce the idea that they can be ridiculously picky and wasteful and still have a 24/7 short order cook waiting on them.

Went to my grandparents for Easter, at around 2; was stuffed and heading for a food coma, but was still hungry later in the evening!! If adults can eat whenever we’re hungry why can’t kids?

My kids have been taught that you eat what you’re served unless I know it’s something they’ve tried and they absolutely do not like. They’ll eat just about anything that’s put in front of them and they’re 6 and 2. We don’t have picky eater money in this house🤷🏼♀️

im the mom that tells them this is dinner so make sure you eat when we are there but when we get home and they say they are hungry they can have cereal, fruit, whatever snacks we have... my kids wont go to bed hungry. my kids pick at holidays but they play with their cousins and visit with family so its ok.
