@rachel_lancaster_art: Let me tell you from personal experience what it’s like to paint a mural in a school

Emma💫 :

my school had a big mural of Jesus and last year they painted over it with white I still dont know why because I have never heard anyone say they didnt like it

Bobbi :

That is great. When you do that please give the school a release to remove or paint over it when it is needed. I work in facilities for a school and we need permission from the artist to repaint. When the mural is 25 YEARS OLD and looks horrible we have to do something. Often we can’t find the original artist or their descendants for permission. Copyright, legal, etc. it delays the maintenance for the school.

I have one in my school and there's also a thing where when anyone finishes grade 6 and goes to high school they get to paint a brick on the wall in the staircase

Don’t be ashamed of your success and don’t hide it either. You’re doing a wonderful job and deserve all the flowers.💐

As a former educator, YES!! Art truly does speak in ways that we don’t understand.
