My birth plan consists of a “Do not disturb” sign on my door from midnight - 7 AM and that the mama and baby nurse team sync their visits so we maximize bonding and rest.

My nurse barely glanced at my birth plan then put it down and said “that’s all standard procedure so you didn’t need this”. To this day I wish I had pushed a bit to make sure I was actually heard.

I told my nurse dont even bring out the peanut ball, she laughed so hard. she said out of everything your about to do, your worried over the peanut ball 😅

my birth plan was pretending I was not going to give birth at all and not thinking about it, like I would go to /from the hospital and pretend nothing happened in between.

I’m in the UK and I said to the midwife if I lay on my back I want you to physically push me off, she laughed and said she can’t do that so I knelt on the floor over a chair and refused to look at a bed until after my son was born 😂

I don't exactly have the assets to give birth but I feel like this should be the bare minimum. also why give birth on the back? again I'm ignorant but I did learn about gravity, wouldn't that make it harder? am I wrong?

my son came 2 days before my appt with OB to talk about labor and what to expect. so unfortunately I really had no plan my nurse was amazing though and helped guide me through it all and I trusted her plan/guidance completely

All that was on my birth plan was: I leave the hospital healthy, baby leaves the hospital healthy, I'm not traumatized....at least my baby left the hospital healthy 😅😭

My drug free birth plan went out the window once those pitocin contractions ramped up! BUT my midwives were the most amazing pair of humans I’ve ever met! I couldn’t have done it without them!!!

I never went in with a birth plan…plan was get this thing out of me I’m so over it! However very regretful not having alone time with my baby & partner before visitors! Same as my wedding day lol no plans, let’s just get this done with, yet again very regretful inviting half the guests I did🥴🤣

Literally had my husband and sister stand guard so I could sleep as much as possible with a do not disturb sign. No unnecessary introductions were made.
