This was such a cute idea! I did this as a baby shower present and loaded in some nappies, wipes, stuff for mum and a few outfits behind the toys. Possibly the cutest gift I’ve ever given.

The comments here are horrible. This is so incredibly thoughtful. Dear Zoo was my daughter’s favourite book from 8 months and what new parent doesn’t have cuddly toys. Seriously people, if this isn’t your cup of tea or you think (yet another) teether is a better gift, just scroll past.

People are pressed and ungrateful this is a lovely gift and one with longevity. I asked everyone at my baby shower to bring their favourite children’s book with a note inside instead of a card. For content I’m in the uk. I got lots of practical stuff too but I also wanted gifts for baby and sentimental things too.

as a new mum myself, i wouldn't give teddy's as a gift unless it's something they asked for. I got heaps of teddy's for my baby shower and donated them becausei had the ones i wanted and didnt need more. I could've used wipes instead/ alternative
