I think you’re doing best thing by just replacing the engine with the same engine. You still have so much work ahead of you and trying to figure out how to cram a V8 a new transmission into that thing would be a pain in the ass. Once it’s finished and looking sexy, you could always go back to that. I’m hyped to see this thing finished. It looks like a really good replica.

I see no talk wrench I hope you’re talking those head down to specification. Also, you have to follow the boat pattern as you tighten.

Just an FYI the compression ratio of the non supercharged 3800 is higher than the in supercharged version. You might blow a headgasket or worse immediately after you hit boost for the first time.
