Our sweet little Truly was so excited to get baptized! She had been talking about it for months to almost everyone she met. She especially couldn’t wait for her grandma to give the Holy Ghost talk like she had for her three older sisters. So when we unexpectedly found out my mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and wouldn’t be able to make it, Truly volunteered us all to drive to California where grandma and grandpa live. My Mom was baptized when she was a teenager. Her courage and example of faith has been a huge example to me and my family to follow Christ no matter what. He taught us to be peacemakers, He taught us to love one another, He taught us obedience, He taught radical forgiveness and mercy, He taught us to turn the other cheek and serve our enemies! Baptism is so sacred to us. Taking the name of Christ upon us means trying to be like Jesus in all that we do and say. Truly was so cute on her baptism day, she was so excited she literally raced Josh to the water where he baptized her! 😊 We’re so proud of her for making that decision. Since then there has been a distinct change in Truly’s energy. She’s kinder, happier, more willing to help others. If you’re on the fence about getting baptized, this is your sign to do it! #family #christian #baptism #lds #utah
