We’re having 200 guests so it was more affordable to bring in our own outside vendors! Our catering/open bar were bringing in ended up being super affordable which I feel like brought down our overall cost a lot! 🤍 I would recommend a planner too if you’re going the DIY route, luckily our planner is also super affordable & great!

yes and yes! i had an all inclusive wedding venue for the most part and i loved it, not only was it better for my busy schedule, i was still able to adjust things to be how i wanted and added things that i wanted and remove what i didn’t and they would provide me with a credit. i did the homework of what it would cost to use outside vendors and flowers alone was almost $10K which was already a 3rd of my budget

All inclusive venue here! So worth it. Just had a bride say one of her biggest stressors was picking her signature drinks 😂 but all depends on the planning experience you want!

Not a bride, but it’s really up to you! Paying more for an all inclusive venue will cost more, but it helps you get rid of planning for many things and also not have to clean up on your own!

It probably depends on how all inclusive they are and how they compare to other vendors’ costs. Think about out, if anything, it doesn’t include, like hair & make up, photography, all the florals you want, etc. IMO, it’s much easier and less work on the couple of you have a place that can do it all, at long as they have what you would like

Honestly it depends on the venue, most venues will allow you to have an outside vendor for a fee. Once you calculate the fees and the cost for the outside vendors ( especially food ) cost wise it’s never worth it to use an outside vendor. Plus they’ll add on rules like the outside vendors are not allowed to use their kitchen 😑

If money isn’t a problem and your heart is set on a specific venue then go the all inclusive route but you can save thousands bringing in your own vendors and hiring a wedding planner to take care of all that work for you. I’m saving myself at least 10,000 on the food and beverage minimum bringing in my own catering.

It depends… as a planner I’m not always a fan because you don’t get to really select your vendors and curate your wedding to YOU.

It can be super helpful if you don’t higher a planner. But you can definitely be put in a box, creatively speaking. There are pros and cons for sure!

My sister did a non all inclusive wedding - brought in all her own vendors and I did an all inclusive. We got married about 6 mo apart. I think if you don’t want to worry about anything and just show up and enjoy yourself all inclusive is amazing! My venue literally thought of everything and had it all planned out. They even communicated will all the additional vendors I brought in (photographer, cake, DJ) Make sure you love the venue though like the style and everything. My venue also came w a coordinator & bridal assist. If you don’t do all inclusive you def need someone who can communicate w all the vendors day of for you - typically a hired coordinator (can be costly and hard to find one you like). Hope this helps! All inclusive is the best route… Everything minus the photographer/videographer. A lot of times they aren’t any good 😂

As a 2025 bride I would not recommend all inclusive 😅 it’s definitely the cheaper route but made me feel way too boxed in as a creative gal with a vision

To an extent, yes. A few notes: a venue coordinator is not a coordinator. They tend to be very cookie cutter, feel free to step out of the box.
