Replying to @yuliyaanikanova4 Did I force my infant to have unnecessary surgery? Not that I have to explain anything to anyone further than what I’ve shared and documented online (to help get us answers and also help advocate for others going through the same thing) but my daughter has struggled since birth. She has been to the ER/pediatrician more times than I can count. We were medically gaslit when she was a few months old; her doctors old us that she had a “virus”, even after months of not getting better due to unexplained “congestion” and difficulty breathing and sleeping. We were eventually referred out to an allergist, a swallow study and even had a few X rays, which did come back negative. She continued to struggle, so I pushed for a second X ray and a second ENT referral. That is the ONLY thing I have gone above any doctors requests and because of me doing that, THAT is how we found my daughters enlarged adenoids. I would never force surgery or anything to that extreme on either of my children. Anyone who would imply such a thing clearly dont have good intentions themselves.
