unfortunately with darker hair like ours you need to bleach it for the color to show. think of it like drawing with markers on black or brown paper. the colors gonna look different than it would on white paper

I dont know why everybody is expecting that vivid berry would turn to be the same colour as the front package, when you have a very dark hair colour before (dark brown, black). Virgin or not virgin hair, the dye works if the hair is also lifted enough to keep the colour in. I dont have virgin hair so i speak from experience when I say this. Your hair needs to be soaked in dye to let it get to your hair, and let it there for a good hour, that’s how I’ve always done it and the results were always positive. I’ve used Vivid Berry and Vivid Red together two days ago and it looks very vibrant
