Day 27 ✨ Some big decisions are on the horizon. Because I’m 41, have had two C-sections, and now have what’s called a “uterine window,” my doctors are highly recommending a scheduled C-section at 38 weeks. That means this countdown might move up sooner than we thought (possibly as early as September 26th) or if I can hold out a bit longer maybe as late as October 3rd! 10/10 is our true due date and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t emotional about letting go of my hope for an October baby, especially since my late sister’s birthday was in October. However, I’m surrendering to God’s timing and this baby’s plan. Healthy mom and healthy baby are what matter most. So I’m sore, tired, and officially entering “lay low” mode these last few weeks.
