Perhaps nostalgia is the only feeling of forced acceptance something you cannot deny, something you cannot push away. Whether you want it or not, it is always there. Nostalgia holds all of you within it: it reflects who you were and everything you went through to become who you are today. It is like a teacher, quietly guiding you, and you carry with you everything it has ever taught.
Nostalgia is beautiful because it makes you realize how you truly lived certain moments. In the moment, you don’t always think you just live, without reflection. But as time passes, nostalgia returns and gently tells you: “Look, this is how you lived that moment.” And only then do you understand how beautiful it was, how much you enjoyed it, how happy you really were.
And nostalgia also carries an important lesson: to live fully in the present, to do things in your own way, to truly be yourself. Because it will return again in the future it always does. But its true purpose is this: it exists so that one day it can come back, brought to life by the moments we choose to truly live.
