One of the quiet strengths of Thai culture is the consideration people show for one another on public transportation. On the BTS and other forms of public transit, passengers generally speak softly or choose to remain quiet. This is not only a matter of courtesy and respect for fellow commuters, but also an act of inclusivity. For passengers with visual impairments, who often rely on station announcements and surrounding sounds to navigate their journeys, a quieter environment makes it much easier to hear important information. By simply keeping noise to a minimum, everyone contributes to creating a safer, more accessible, and more welcoming public transport system for all. This small yet meaningful habit reflects Thailand's culture of kindness, respect, and shared responsibility.

I would like to address everyone regarding social etiquette in Asian countries—such as Japan, Korea, and Thailand. We respect social norms and show consideration for shared spaces; we do not make excessive noise or disturb others in public areas that are not private. The behaviors you might be accustomed to—such as talking loudly, eating inside trains, screaming, or emitting strong food or body odor are things we avoid.Screaming, shouting, and making an annoying racket out likely aren't accustomed to Thai people or Asian society, where there is so much you don't yet understand or have yet to learn. For us, things are measured on a spiritual and cultural level; our customs and practices run in our blood—they aren't merely trends or fashions that shift with the times, as you seem to think. P.S. Don't judge other countries based on the habits of your own; when in Rome, do as the Romans do. Wherever you find yourself, you ought to adapt and adjust your attitude to suit the environment. People like you bring nothing but conflict and chaos wherever you go. And that is the end of the story.
