@yoursurvivalguide_holly: If you think survival is about strength… you’re already behind 🌿 Things I do differently as a female survivalist✨ 1. I prioritise awareness I don’t need to prove anything, I just need to get home safe. 2. I conserve energy I’m not trying to brute force the bush… I’m usually there to recharge and enjoy nature. 3. I prepare properly No “she’ll be right” mindset here. Lots of planning goes into my trips and includes safety considerations. 4. I trust my intuition If something feels off, I listen. Every single time. 5. I make comfort a priority Struggling for no reason is a personal choice. 6. I stay quiet and observant The bush is constantly giving you information… if you slow down enough to notice. 7. I don’t take unnecessary risks I respect the environment I’m in way too much to start being reckless. Our time in the bush is a privilege. 8. I build systems, not quick fixes Good shelter, good fire, good setup done right the first time and something I practised in my backyard first. 9. I adapt quickly Things don’t go to plan out here… I don’t fight that, I adjust. 10. I stay calm Staying grounded will keep you in control. Save this for your next trip into the bush 🪶 Which one do you relate to most? #survivalskills #bushsurvival #bushcraft
