In een oude niet comon rail diesel gaat dit prima, alleen die lucht uit de uitlaat :-) heb jaren met een oude Volvo zo rondgereden en nooit een probleem gehad.

I tried it 2 weeks ago with volvo v70, cooking oil+diesel. still works

I used to run a Toyota Hilux Surf ( 2.5ltr Diesel) on veg oil mixed with normal diesel, in summer you could run it on straight veg oil but when the weather is cold it is better to use a 50/50 mix. I ran it for years with no problems at all. I would only recommend it for bigger engines as the injectors are much less likely to clog.
