As a truck driver for over 30 years with lots of stops and tickets for speeding and other things I’ve always given the cop what he ask for he either writes the ticket or gives me a verbal warning and I’m on my way

Most cops are pretty cool. And if you cooperate and give them everything they need and tell them what they want to hear. They will let you go with maybe just a warning. That's what I have encountered
