@.aldodiaz: La Isla Bonita It was the first Madonna song I ever heard. My brother used to collect LPs, and among them was True Blue. He wouldn’t let anyone listen to it, so I would wait for him to leave for work and then play the album… but I never listened to the whole thing, haha! I would skip straight to “La Isla Bonita” and play it over and over again. I remember thinking the cover was beautiful and even thought it was a painting. Later, he sold his collection and I never heard the song again. I only listened to Madonna again during the Ray of Light era — and it was also the first time I saw her singing and dancing, haha. Until then, the image I had of her was still from True Blue. That’s when I completely fell in love ❤️ Years later, already listening on CD and knowing Madonna better, I finally heard the full True Blue album and discovered so many other beautiful songs on it.
