The Knights Hospitaller (The Order Of Saint John) Defended The Island Of Malta, Around 500-700 Knights Of Saint John With Roughly 6000-9000 Spanish, Sicilian And Italian Troops Along With Maltese Locals, Against 35,000-40,000 Ottoman Troops. They Fought For Four Months From May 18th To September 8th 1565. The Ottomans Dead On The Rocks, Their Ships Left In A Hurry, The Ottomans Massacred, The Survivors Injured. The Order Of Saint John Defended Malta And Won, Uniting Christian Europe Proving The Ottomans Could Be Defeated, And Stopping The Ottoman Empire From Entering The Mediterranean Protecting Italy And Sicily From Invasion. For The Next Few Centuries The Christians Fought Hard And Pushed The Ottomans Back. The Order Of Saint John Didn't Just Protect Malta, They United The Christians, Proving The Ottoman Invincibility Was A Mere Myth Rather Than Truth, And Pushed Them Back Over Several Centuries Until The Eventual Fall Of The Ottomans After World War 1 In November 1922, Whilst The Order Of Saint John Still Stands Today. The Order Of Saint John Gave The Faithful Hope And Protection, All Whilst Fighting For Freedom, They Were Catholic Warrior Monks Trained From Boyhood To Fight Against Evil, And Defend The Faithful. The Knights Hospitaller Was Formed Around 1099 To Provide Medical Care Along With Charity To The Sick, Poor And Injured Pilgrims Visiting The Holy Land.
