@howtocoeliac: ✨ Gluten Free F&C Spring Rolls: Episode 8✨ I distinctly remember never choosing to get a spring roll at the fish & chips shop as kid because I thought that’s weird…. Then I’d get a battered pineapple instead lol It wasn’t until I was much older that I had a bite of one and realised how much I’d missed out. Actually thinking about it now, that may have been right before I was diagnosed because I don’t think I ever had another 😂 Anyway, here’s the ingredients: (For the filling) ⭐ 1 carrot, chopped ⭐ 1/4 cabbage, chopped ⭐ 3-4 spring onions, chopped ⭐ 2 or more garlic, chopper ⭐ 2 Tbsp rice vinegar ⭐ 2 Tbsp soy sauce ⭐ 2 Tbsp oyster sauce ⭐ 1/2 Tbsp corn flour ⭐ Salt ⭐ Pepper (For the wrappers) ⭐ 1 packet of rice paper (around 15 circles) ⭐ 3 eggs ⭐ Vegetable Oil (for frying) This is one of my fave recipes to date - I hope you like it! These look amazing!! I’ve already got some left over dumpling filling in the freezer from when I made some GF dumpling wrappers. So I’ll have to give this a go as looks easier than the Gf wrappers I made!

It was a thing over here in the UK too btw but you don’t see it much any more. Seems to be less Chinese owned chippies these days so maybe that’s why, or maybe it’s more of a northern thing
