As a reminder I am not the real Justin Briner, just sharing his talent humor and skill to the world. :) I had to post something when I saw this on Twitter and I’m literally jumping for joy that he got nominated for the 2026 Anime Awards hosted by Crunchyroll!! The vote resets daily so make sure you put in your daily vote every day from now until April 15th. That’s 39 days away! Briner wasn’t the only one for an award nomination from the My Hero roster. My Hero Academia also got nominated for Anime of the Year, Best Continuing Series, Best Animation, Best Action, Best Opening Sequence and Best Ending Sequence! Izuku Midoriya was nominated for Best Main Character and “Must Protect at All Costs” Character, with Katsuki Bakugo taking the nomination for Best Supporting Character! Additionally, Daiki Yamashita (the Japanese actor for Izuku) was nominated for Best Voice Artist Performance on the JP side! Finally, but certainly not the least of these, Kenji Nagasaki and Naomi Nakayama were both nominated for Best Director! I voted the other day, mainly for MHA and CSM, and if those 2 weren't an option, I picked SXF, and if THAT wasn't an option, I went for the one with the cooler picture because those are the only anime I watched that are up for voting 😭
