Where to get the wine or whiskey barrel? I’ve only been seeing plastic ones or actual full barrels. Did you get a barrel and cut it yourself?

Do all fruit trees need at least 8 hours of sun? I have one corner up against a fence I wanted to put something in but I don’t think it gets quite that amount due to the fence line 😅

HEAVY on the bricks, or raisers of some sort. Drainage holes are almost pointless if they’re flush with the ground it’s on. Yes, they can work, just not as well and a soggy root ball isn’t ideal

great tips! I always overfill pots with that really good soil when planting trees cause after a few years the soil level drops a lot and it's hard to add more later.

Question I had a fig tree in a 10 gallon pot for a few years and then the roots went through the drain holes into the ground and grew huge! Is this common with other trees?
