Bro, ever wonder why guys who’d never even think about messing with another man on the outside end up crossing that line once they’re locked up? It doesn’t happen overnight. Prison changes you—slow, steady. Guys would sit in the same cell for years, even decades. And when you’re locked up that long with no outlet, at some point you stop caring if it’s a man or a woman. It’s just about having something. And if there’s an “oppressed” inmate—the lowest in the hierarchy—most of the cell ain’t gonna pass that up. If one dude hooks up with another, nobody’s clowning him for it or calling him out. If anything, others back it. Some guys figured out other ways. They’d rig up makeshift stuff out of bread and warm water. One dude even put something together using foam and a plastic bag—had half the cell lined up trying to borrow it.
